BTM Running Club: Join the MOVEment!
JOIN the MOVEMENT! We are a new run/walk club to the Newington community and are hosting 8am run/walks from our Back to Motion Sports Rehab and Fitness location. This is a free group for all skill levels to help get you "back to motion" with your fitness/running goals. From 5k, 10k, half or full we can help you reach your goals and successfully finish! Take on our 2 mile, 3.2 mile or 4.5 mile routes as many times as you need with others to help get you race day ready! We will provide you with advice from our certified marathon coach Dr. Lex, and a training plan that will fit you! For longer training runs, advice on nutrition and snacks will be provided to all club members. Have our chiropractic physicians on staff to assure safety and proper techniques and stretching. Bring your friends and come meet new people as we embark on a fun journey together! BTM running club is here to join those who have the same loving passion for exercise and movement and can all come together to encourage one another. We will have a table set up with information for the upcoming local road races to help provide a timeline for a training program.
Dr. Lex’s ties with Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society have been inspiring her to continue her marathon journey since 2007. While we incorporate a safe, fun and positive and free club to encourage fitness goals, we also have ways to become involved in running for a purpose and to help those in need. We will provide information and the occasional free gear giveaway from our local Team in Training race coordinators. See where all of the amazing places and races are held all over the world! Become a hero and learn how you could honor a stranger or a loved one in the fight against blood cancer!
